Hugh Jackman Set to Return as Wolverine in 'Avengers: Doomsday'

Hugh Jackman is expected to return as Wolverine in Marvel's 'Avengers: Doomsday,' giving the studio one of its most recognizable characters for the next major Avengers installment. The film is currently scheduled for release on Dec. 18, 2026, and Jackman's inclusion would mark another high-profile comeback for the actor after his recent return to the role.

Marvel has not yet outlined the full cast, but Jackman's presence would immediately elevate the project as one of the centerpiece events in the studio's next phase. With multiverse storylines continuing to shape the franchise, the return of Wolverine is likely to become one of the film's biggest talking points as more casting details emerge.
