Republicans Poised to Keep Missouri’s 7th District

Republicans are on track to retain Missouri’s 7th Congressional District in the 2026 midterm elections, extending the party’s hold on one of the state’s most reliably conservative House seats. The district, which covers much of southwest Missouri, has long favored GOP candidates and is expected to remain in the Republican column as voters head to the polls on Nov. 4, 2026.

The result would reinforce the party’s broader strength across rural Missouri, where Republican candidates have continued to perform strongly in federal contests.
