Game 2 of the upcoming Dota 2 series is set to conclude during a daytime phase of the game’s standard day/night cycle, a detail that will be determined by the official in-game clock at the moment the Ancient falls or a forfeit is recorded.

Under Dota 2’s timing system, daytime and nighttime alternate in five-minute intervals, with daytime covering periods such as 0:00–5:00, 10:00–15:00 and 20:00–25:00. Temporary hero-driven changes to visibility or lighting will not affect the classification, which is based solely on the base game timer.
